Decompressing and Aligning the Design Structures of Computer Based Instruction

چکیده

Designers of computer-based instruction (CBI) and web-based instruction (WBI) need approaches that support the creation of products that are effective, efficient, and appealing. In order to achieve these product qualities, early CBI researchers pursued goals of adaptivity, generativity, and scalability (Stolurow, 1969; Suppes, 1969). Researchers also felt that computerizing instruction would also explicate and validate existing teaching methods in addition to developing new ones.
